Jane Darling by ME Apparel

My name is Marty Alterman and Emily Mak has been my seamstress for years. I knew she was a genius, and could do anything when it came to clothing and fashion.

After I hit a certain age, running in shorts and short skirts was no longer an option for me. So I went to Emily and said, "I want you to make me something to run in, like leggings with an attached skirt." It took us about a year to find the right kind of fabric. After that, we put our heads together and went to work. That is how Jane Darling by ME got started!

Since then we have four different styles of skirts with all length of leggings attached, long and short jackets, shirts, tunics and plain leggings. Our style is amazing and very fashion forward. The idea behind our clothes is for people over 40 to look fantastic in anything they wear.

To our surprise everyone from the age of 16 to 65 is wearing Jane Darling by ME!

The fabric is a four way stretch Spandex. Our clothes are so comfortable, people say, that is all they want to wear. All of our clothes are safe to go in the washing machine, dryer and the best part...there is no ironing or dry cleaning!
