i am so curious to see what the numbers on this one turn out to be. when issues are put out there in their purest form, the people really can be heard.

Sadly, the issue was put out in the "purest form" as you put it Karen, but the facts behind the issue certainly were not. There was a lot of bad and intentional deceitful information propagated to the fullest extent. It caused a lot of fear for many.

My cousin lives in West Hollywood, CA. They were elated that they were given the equal right to marry this June 17th. On June 18th, there union was legalized as a marriage. Now they are fighting for their equal rights since Prop 8 passed.

It is a sad day when we are taking steps backwards as a society regarding equal rights, instead of steps forward.

I remain optimistic for our future though. It is clear that the greater good is working hard on so many levels to counter the negative.
