I am endlessly frustrated by flag waving Republicans who hate unions and can't imagine why a company would make its products in the US or even Europe when China is so much cheaper.
How does that make sense? Unions support American workers and companies outsourcing take jobs out of America. No matter my opinion on modern-day patriotism (and, no I don't have a flag on my car to rub it in to all those damn immigrants -- whoops, I DO have an opinion though

), there's no denying that there is a little bit of multiple personality going on here.
It just makes no sense to me. Why be so "American" yet be so un-American by supporting the Republican economic agenda?
At least give up on the I Love USA crap. Or are all the flag wavers voting just based on the flag and not the conservative economics? It's just not likely all of those people are so undereducated.
Also,
this Newsweek article about John McCain's cars is wonderful.
He owns 13 cars and I don't think he realizes it! They
might be his wife's or her company's, but it still makes McCain look like a dufus when he says "I've bought American literally all my life and I'm proud."
So apparently the car HE drives is a Cadillac. And in his delusional world he buys American. Maybe he did in his youth...or his parents always bought American cars. But now, John McCain, you are a member of a whole new breed of car buying.
I do feel bad for him. He can't say anything without being picked apart. And every statement is compared back to back and side to side. But it does make me laugh a little. (Yes, yes. I would laugh at Barack Obama too.....so, speaking of, he sold his HEMI powered Sedan for a Hybrid SUV. That is CLEARly a nauseating political move. I'm still voting for him, though. Men who drive hybrids are sexy.)
