My mother used to send a gingerbread house from Massachusetts to my daughter at Christmas time. She was always so thrilled and excited to receive it -- and later to consume it!

One of my favorite Christmas memories as a child was getting the gingerbread house from the Gingerbread Construction company my grandparents would send me every year.The houses are meticulously finished and delicious!
