Get Involved with the Local Food Hub! 

We need your help in the following areas:

- Our area's public schools need folks to wash and prepare Local Food Hub fresh fruit and veggies for their snack programs

- Check in farmers' produce with weighing and labeling at the warehouse

- Pack out orders to area schools, institutions, grocery stores, and restaurants from the warehouse

Are you looking for hands-on experience on a small, organically grown farm? 

The Local Food Hub is looking for volunteers to help us maintain our educational farm in Louisa County

(just 20 minutes from Charlottesville).

Volunteer orientation & educational farm workshops are EVERY THIRD SATURDAY of each month - into the fall.

 
Exciting opportunities to learn how to lay irrigation, direct sow, build row covers, make hoop houses.
