Many of us here at Locallectual have wondered the same thing. How can a restaurant patron be certain that items on a menu really are what is claimed? This article takes a look at problems with current menu laws (or lack thereof), challenges that restaurants and farmers face, and what the consumer should be aware of.  As usual, caveat emptor seems to be the philosopy.
